Helping Bring the Cure Foundation is accepting new project submissions. Those interested in applying for project sponsorship, please read the guidelines below.
Helping Bring the Cure Foundation offers project sponsorship to select causes that align with our mission. As a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status, Helping Bring the Cure Foundation is eligible to receive grants and tax-deductible contributions from private and public foundations, individuals, corporations, and other entities. We extend that exempt status to accepted projects that align with our mission; allowing us to work together in seeking grants and tax deductible donations.
Helping Bring the Cure Foundation sponsors projects that focus on helping those in need. We are primarily interested in projects that are existing in scope and we will consider proposals of any geographic region.
Along with sponsorship, we also offer other services. When you join our community of helping causes, we offer mentorship throughout the life of your project sponsorship and more, depending upon project needs.
Materials must be submitted to our office for review. There is no set deadline for submission as projects are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Submission Tips
Projects should:
- Meet the Helping Bring the Cure mission.
- Explain the potential impact of the project.
- Propose an achievable project in scope, cost and degree.
- Be innovative: not derivative of existing or past Helping Bring the Cure Foundation projects.
- Include a thorough outline that reflects the needs, status and opportunities.
Projects should NOT:
- Seek direct funding from Helping Bring the Cure Foundation.
- Primarily be a means to fund your cause.
- Have connections with a more appropriate 501(c)3 organization.
Application Process
Only electronic applications are accepted. All materials should be sent to the email address admin@helpingbringthecure.org. The project application should be submitted as a single PDF. Images and videos should be available for online viewing. Please Contact Us for suggestions on free services for sending large image files.
The PDF narrative should include the following information, clearly labeled as separate sections:
- Brief letter (2 pages or less) describing the cause and the status of your project.
- Supporting materials and documents that validate the need and opportunity. These may also include photos and videos.
- Your background and personal information including physical address, phone number and email. Submissions that do not include contact information will not be considered.
- Proposed budget, including a line item for your pay.
- A list of sources you plan to approach for funding.
- Three references with complete contact information.
Submission/Review Fee
The submission/review fee is $75, by check or money order payable to Helping Bring the Cure Foundation. You may also pay the fee online. Please select “one-time donation” from the drop down menu.

Important Considerations Before Submitting your Cause/Project
Before sending in your proposal, please make sure you understand that the Helping Bring the Cure Foundation’s 501(c)(3) sponsorship avails our tax status that can be used to approach U.S. companies, foundations and private individuals for tax-deductible donations. Ordinarily, this tax status will NOT be useful in seeking funding from sources outside the United States.
You will be primarily responsible for developing funding requests for the project. Sponsorship does not eliminate the substantial amount of work required on your part to secure grants and donations to fund the project.
All requests for funds under the Causes name are subject to Helping Bring the Cure Foundation approval and are made on behalf of Helping Bring the Cure Foundation, which will administer the funds and, after deducting an administration fee, distribute those funds to the project as it progresses. This information will be covered in detail once the project is accepted.
Accepted projects are required to sign a sponsorship contract and report to Helping Bring the Cure Foundation on a regular basis. You will be required to make your best efforts to promote your project so that it helps those in need, and furthers Helping Bring the Cure Foundations mission.
Helping Bring the Cure Foundation seeks a limited number of projects and, as a result, not all worthy projects can be accepted.
